Cleanings + Checkups

To help prevent gum disease and to give you a cleaner, healthier mouth, regular cleanings are essential.

Frequent checkups also help with early intervention of cavities, cracks, and other dental conditions. When caught early, we can usually offer more conservative treatments at a lower cost.

Dr. Bond utilizes the latest techniques and technology to make your experience as comfortable as possible, with as few appointments as needed.

Cavity Treatment

Have you experienced mild sensitivity or pain on a tooth? Cavities are areas of tooth decay, caused by plaque and bacterial buildup.

We will remove the defect, restore and seal the tooth using the best material and color for you.

We will also offer strategies for your home care routine to prevent future occurrences, such as the addition of supplements or flossing techniques.

Bite Correction

Misalignment of your jaw joint, temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and bite may cause facial pain, sore jaw muscles, tooth breakage or headaches.

Realignment of your bite can alleviate pain, reduce improper wear and restore usage. Through the use of cutting-edge technology, orthotics, and diagnostic imaging, Dr. Bond will help you achieve a comfortable and functional bite.

Root Canal Therapy

If a cavity is not detected and treated, bacteria can spread to the living center of a tooth and cause irreparable damage.

To avoid additional pain and further tooth damage, Dr. Bond will clean, sterilize, and reseal the infected center to remove the pain source and keep your tooth.

Since a tooth with a root canal is weaker than a healthy tooth, a crown is often necessary after the root canal to prevent the tooth from breaking or cracking.

Gum Recession Treatment

Gum recession occurs for several reasons and is one of the leading causes of tooth sensitivity, potential tooth loss and susceptibility to additional complications.

Dr. Bond can help you to both treat and prevent this through various periodontal therapies and gingival grafts. Periodontal therapies stimulate gum growth and repair while the grafts help thicken your gums and stop future recession.

Tooth Removal

The most common extraction is wisdom teeth, as only a small percentage of the population has the room in their mouth for proper growth.

Other tooth removals can be required due to a variety of issues, including aging dental treatments like failed root canals, or breakage due to acute trauma.

Overcrowding and the long-term presence of decay can also cause complications, such as bite changes, infection and systemic health effects from those infections. Dr. Bond offers extractions to prevent these issues and will help provide solutions to replace teeth where they have been lost.

Dentures + Partials

Do you have broken or missing teeth that need replacement? With the latest in implant technology, one tooth or multiple teeth can be replaced.

If a tooth is lost or removed and not replaced, the surrounding bone and gums will atrophy over time. By selecting this solution, you can avoid the hassles of traditional dentures while achieving your ideal smile.

Dr. Bond will affix custom dentures to high-tech titanium screws installed in your jaw bone.

Newborn Tongue-Tie Treatments & Surgery

Based on personal experience with his own children, Dr. Bond has helped serve the community of new moms and children by treating newborn tongue and lip ties to aid in nursing since 2016. Working with Bozeman Health Lactation Consultants and local pediatricians, Dr. Bond serves as a resource for moms and newborn children to provide timely laser tongue-tie release treatment to help positively shift the nursing experience for families.

While every person is born with a tongue and lip tie (also known as a frenum), some can either be more strongly attached or limit proper movement of the lip and tongue. This can have short term effects to breastfeeding for either the mom or child.

The long term effects of having a strong frenum can affect proper tooth brushing ability of the teeth, spacing of the teeth (gaps in the teeth), speech concerns, and most importantly proper development of the oral cavity.

When the tongue movement is limited for young children, it cannot help develop the ideal arch of the upper jaw and therefore children can have long lasting crowding, narrow palates, and even smaller nasal cavities that affect breathing.
